This manuscript is a property deed between the Potawatami Nation and Captain Gabriel James Godfroy of the 60th Regiment, Detroit Garrison.
The Chiefs signed with totemic signatures/clan emblems and are: Saguiouimby; an unknown chief; Achequiby; Buiallarme;
Pénomee; and Quarmia. The manuscript is written in French

A birchbark bowl or basket made from a single piece of birchbark, decorated on one side with a deer motif. Given the location where it was collected and catalogue information it was probably made by an Anishinaabe or Chippewa artist. Collected by G.C. Beltrami in

Anishinaabe beaded bag attributed to Chippewa Chief Tom made with one piece of folded blue stroud or woollen cloth. Appliqued and loomed beadwork with seed beads, and six loomed tabs with woollen yarn tassels. Possible motifs include ottertail, crayfish and equal-armed cross. Dr. Oronhyatekha Ethnology

Beautifully incised bone comb with elaborate motifs and images on both sides. Front side has a scene showing a man in a canoe with a flag, directional arrow, war club and peace pipe. Reverse side is decorated with chevrons and diagonal lines. Dr. Oronhyatekha Archeology

Bone comb incised and beautifully decorated with three design fields. One design field shows possible Union Jack. Collected by Dr. Oronhyatekha; acquired by the ROM in 1911 from the Independent Order of Foresters.
