Simcoe agrees that "the Negociahons between the American Indians & he United [this section of the paper is folded back on itself, covering the letter below, which is most certainly an "S"]tates did not terminate in an honorable Peace." He also opines that McKee's conduct

Red broadcloth chief's coat collected by Oronhyatekha, who notes it belonged to "a Chippawa [Anishinaabe] warrior of the Carodoc [Munsee] reservation." Likely the property of George King (Mookejewunooka), who was a signatory on a document at the River Credit in 1837. May be one of
