Oval quill box made by Maime Migwans of M'Chigeeng First Nation. Fully-quilled lid with red eight-pointed star (or flower) with yellow tuft and two red diamonds on blue background. Body is made of second-growth birchbark.

Lid: Red eight-pointed star in centre with a red diamond on either side (yellow tuft in star centre suggests a flower rather than a star, with the diamonds as leaves), on blue background with white edges and sweetgrass border. Body: piece of unquilled second-growth birchbark with sweetgrass border.
