Introduction

Red stroud women's leggings with narrow cuff and wide side flap. Size 16 multicolored seed beads. Edges trimmed with narrow strip of dark blue stroud and size 10 beads. Floral pattern is stylized and the same on front and back - seeming variation on double-curves. From June Bedford.

Materials

Stroud sz 16 and 10 seed beads (no lining). Size 16 seed beads in white, clear dark green, cobalt blue, greasy dark yellow, opaque amber, milky dark turquoise, navy blue, opal.

Techniques or Format

Corded list on top edge of leggings.

Motifs and Patterns

Triangles, zig zag, three petalled flowers, tulip flower; circles on tendrils; floral arrangement resembles a double curve variation.

Dimensions: 2 × 14.2 × 0 cm
Condition: Some moth damage - fuzz eaten off parts of stroud; some beads missing on edges.
