black polished cotton (cap), feathers of hen hawk, plus odd irridescent duck feathers, bundled against a wooden splint. silk ribbon may be blanket binding.
Techniques or Format
wide wooden basketry type splint with wide teal silk ribbom that is wrapped around the band, cap is sewn to silk ribbon at the bottom edge of the splint, at the back of the head is a half bow with two short trailer. Feather adornment.
