wampum belt
wampum belt with diamond pattern, collected by Arthur Speyer, formerly in the collection of Kurfusten von Hessen, Durmstadt, possibly Anishinaabe or Onkwehonwe (Iroquois, Hodenosaunee), 1700s.
AnishinaabegOther: doesn't strike JMoses as being Haudenosaunee. Card in Latin suggests that the origin might be from the Carolinas. Could it be Tuscaroran?
