Description of Surrendered Timber:
The Chiefs and Principal Men belonging to the Sarnia Band, decided by vote to surrender to the Indian Department, some merchantable oak and pine timber standing on unoccupied portions of their reserve in the Township of Sarnia and also on the reserve in the Township of Bosanquet. The Indians were to receive the interest amounting from the sale of the wood.
