Body of dress is made of two pieces of tanned hide that have been cut into fringe at the bottom, and are sewn together with possibly thread(?) at the sides with strips of hide fringe sewn into the seam. Two smaller pieces of hide that have cut fringe along the trim have been sewn at the front and the back of the dress to form flaps. The top of the front flap has been ornamented with beadwork in otter tail and cross designs. Two strips of hide that are beaded with otter tail and zigzag lines are sewn to the dress forming straps.
