A copy of the surrender of Stag Island by the Chippewa Tribe of Indians (sixty acres) in order that it be granted to David McCall of the Town of Sarnia. Also a copy of the Order in Council recommending that the deed of surrender from the Chippewas of Sarnia to Her Majesty the Queen be accepted and entered into the records. Description of Land Surrendered:
The Chief and Principal men of the Tribe of Chippewa Indians, claiming to be the possessor of Stag Island in the River St. Clair, containing sixty acres, do hereby surrender unto Her Majesty Queen Victoria all their claim to the aforesaid Island. To the end that Her Majesty may be pleased to grant the said Stag Island unto David McCall, of the Town of Sarnia, in the County of Lambton.

The Committee recommended that the surrender be accepted and entered upon the records of the Commissioner of Crown Lands
