Description of Land Surrendered:

The Chief and Principal men of the Tribe of Chippewa Indians, claiming to be the possessor of Stag Island in the River St. Clair, containing sixty acres, do hereby surrender unto Her Majesty Queen Victoria all their claim to the aforesaid Island. To the end that Her Majesty may be pleased to grant the said Stag Island unto David McCall, of the Town of Sarnia, in the County of Lambton.

Also a transmission of the deed of surrender from the Chiefs and Principal Men of the Chippewas of Sarnia of Stag Island, in the River St. Clair to Her Majesty the Queen, to the end and purpose that it be granted to David McCall of the Town of Sarnia. The Committee recommended that the surrender be accepted and entered upon the records of the Commissioner of Crown Lands
