Smith to McKee, 6 October 1793.
Smith to McKee, 6 October 1793.
Introduction
Smith writes of all kinds of things to McKee, most of which are mundane. Of interest, he notes that Simcoe has quarreled with his council, that complaints have been issued against him to Parliament, and that he has gone to Toronto. Smith writes "it is said that he has formed a new party and expects to carry through all the Indian deeds." It is not perfectly clear who the "he" is referring to. It likely refers to the attorney General.
