Collection Narratives and Histories
Items given to or acquired by Lt. Andrew Foster while in service in the Great Lakes region. Returned with him to England and remained with the familiy until 1936, when the items were given to the Wells Museum in the UK. They were sold to the dealer George Terasaki in 1966, and he in turn sold them to the Museum of the American Indian, Heye Foundation, in New York in 1967.
