Description of Land Sold:

The Chiefs, Warriors, and people of the Mohawk Nation surrendered unto His Majesty several portions of the lands granted to them by the Crown in 1784. The lands were located on the Grand River between Lakes Ontario, Huron and Erie. Several persons were granted portions of land in fee simple.
