Techniques or Format

The body of the bag is hide. The back is natural hide, and the front panel and flap are black dyed and ornamented with moosehair embroidery. Along the bottom edge of the front panel is a fringe of tin cones with dyed moosehair. The flap has a small hole that corresponds to a small silk-covered button sewn to the front panel for closure. The strap is made of black dyed hide ornamented with moosehair embroidery, edged and lined with beige muslin. The straps are sewn at the top of the bag's back panel.
