Made of beads; white, red, green, yellow, pink, blue, bronze "faceted", cord, black stroud, cotton thread.
Pouch is beaded with symmetrical, complex, floral design.
Beaded pouch has three main design elements at the bottom middle and top of the bag. At the bottom, the core element is a four petal flower, with leaves, berries and buds all springing from the core design. The core element in the design at the upper middle is a cabbage rose type of flower, with bronze "faceted" beads used to highlight the centres of the outer petals, and the leaves. The core element in the top design is a five-petaled flower from which springs buds and berries.
Autumn Epple suggests based on materials and style that this pouch dates between 1850 and 1900.
