A finger woven sash with interwoven geometric designs in white seed beads. Anishinaabe or Hodenosaunee. Given to the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology as a gift by C.W. Miller in 1897.

This is an exceptional example of finger-woven sashes in quality, design, and condition. The use of three yarn colours and the fineness of the border treatments are unusual.

woolen yarn, red, yellow and black; small (size 12?) opaque white glass seed beads.

Finger-woven, with beads woven into the sash and also in the loose woolen yarn fringe.
