Tanned, black-dyed skin; porcupine quills, orange, brown, yellow, white; metal cones; orange-and brown-dyed animal hair; sinew; cotton thread.
The quill work uses zigzag band, simple line and one-quill edging stitches.
The contrast of a design of wavy lines and opposed double hooks with one of castellated lines appears to set up a symbolic opposition between upper and underworld powers on this pouch (Patterns of Power).
