Introduction
This pouch was made with vegetal fibers, wool, and sinew. Pouch was hand made with a two-stick technique. The symmetrical banded design of diamonds was created with dyed blue and natural colors. Item was accessioned in 1962 by the Missouri Historical Society.

Techniques or Format
Twined pouch. End of bag finished off with linen thread. Two-stick technique with foundation string possibly sinew. Button-hole stitch to finish off the top of the bag.
Motifs and Patterns
Banded horizontal orientation with horizontal symmetry from middle band outward. Repeated motif of splayed rectangles flanked by band of connected diamonds, flanked by a band of oblique parallel lines. Same design on front and back.
