This relative, a black stone pipe bowl, is decorated with a perforated panel along the shank. Although the origins of this relative are not certain, it has probable connections with the Anishinaabe and is believed to have been made in the first half of the nineteenth century.
This relative currently resides in the National Museum of Ireland.

GRASAC researcher notes: This pipe bowl shares similarities to pipes in the Drummond Collection, which are dated to War of 1812 and currently reside in the Canadian Museum of History.
