Introduction
Pipe bowl carved of red catlinite with lead and black steatite inlays and notched rim along base and front of bowl. Bowl is in the shape of a human head facing the smoker. Collected by A. Speyer. Ojibwa.

Made from dull red catlinite, with lead and black steatite inlays. Notched rim extending along most of base, and up front of bowl. Notched crest of black stone above end of base.
