Carved in form of two rectangular solids placed at right angles and perforated by holes forming bowl and a triangular blade extending down from them.

Carved in the shape of a pipe tomahawk, "X" on top of horizontal element, arrow on front of horizontal element, diagonal cross hatching on front of vertical size of bowl;

Autumn Epple notes that the Dakota came to the area as refugees during the 1860s, but it's likely this dates to later than that.
