A small beaded Hodenosaunee pincushion, made between 1837 and 1901. Accompanied by a note with the price "37 1/2 cts" written on it. Given to the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology by Marshall Joseph Becker in 1991.

A circular, six lobed piece of red velvet is edged with cream cotton tape and backed with a piece of blue cotton. It is decorated with raised beadwork, parts of which are done over a paper pattern. A scalloped or spiral beading fringe decorates the edge.
Three lobed floral or leaf motifs with sprays. Alternating solid and broken beaded circular lines around the center.
The lobed motifs may be clover.
The museum record for this item says it was made during the Victorian Era.
