On a communication from the Superintendent General of Indian Affairs, transmitting a deed of surrender from Chief Tootomenie, of the Tribe of Indians residing at Gros Cap, on Lake Superior to her Majesty Queen Victoria. This deed has been laid before the Governor General for the purpose of the deed being accepted and entered into the records in the offices of the Commissioner of Crown Lands and of the Provincial Registrar.
The Committee recommended that the deed be accepted and entered in the records.
