Extract from a report of a Committee of the Executive Council on Land Application:
The Superintendent General of Indian Affairs has transmitted a deed of surrender from the Chippewa Indians of Port Sarnia to Her Majesty the Queen of a tract of land from their reserve adjoining the town plot. The Committee recommended that the surrender be accepted and entered into the records.
