Anishinaabe beaded moss bag made of possibly wool fabric with white selvedge sewn along the bag opening, lined with plaid patterned fabric. Beadwork is applied over cotton ribbon up the centre of the bag. Motifs include otter tail, zigzag and wavy lines, alternating dome and zigzag line pattern and parallel lines. Purchased from L. D. Wool fabric sewn to form bag, lined with possible cotton plaid patterned fabric. Top of bag is edged with white selvedge from possibly blue stroud, and sewn around the opening of the bag. The middle of the bag is decorated with beadwork over appliquéd cotton ribbon work. Large brass(?) beads are sewn along either side of the patterned beadwork. Hide thongs are tied up the centre of the bag opening forming loops for lacing.
Beadwork displays cross-hatching, diamond motifs, otter tail pattern, zigzag and wavy lines, alternating dome and zigzag line pattern, parallel lines.
