Introduction

Mokuk made of birchbark with rim wrapped in spruce root. Unknown substance inside, possibly spruce root dyed dark. Motifs of opposed triangles that form an hourglass shape. Collected by Johann Georg Schwarz, possibly during the winter of 1820-1821.
