The painting depicts two Mohawk men sitting on the ice behind a windscreen made of branches from coniferous trees. Two fish lie on the snow next to a sled and a pair of snowshoes. One man is sitting, arms crossed, looking towards his companion who has covered his head, face and body with a large blanket.

Dimensions: 0 × 41.3 × 34 cm
Condition: The painting is in good condition except for some slight soiling due to the matting which left a part of the work exposed while the other part was shielded.
