The MNAEF record accompanying this item states that it was acquired by "Bigeschi" in 1828, and given to the museum in 1869. Item comes from the Regio Museuo Collection, eventually transferred to the MNAEF. In the MNAEF's old catalogue, the item is described as "Shoes from Canada.
