Moccasins.

Materials

Orange-brown commercially tanned hide, brown velvet on vamp and cuff, paper pattern behind vamp, red rick-rack on edge of vamp, red cotton tape edging on cuff, polished cotton lining, sequins, small (white, yellow and green) and medium sized beads in opaque blue and light blue, jade green, yellow, white, pink, transluscent red, yellow, grey (iridescent)

Techniques or Format

Separate sewn on cuff, vamp overlay puckered toe, t-heel seam

Motifs and Patterns

Vamp is floral motif (may look like feathers) with mono chromatic shading with a few sequins, edged with double parallel lines. Cuff: 2 parallel zig zag lines separated by double parallel lines

Condition: Fair - damage to rick rack and beading
