Materials

Tanned, unsmoked hide, silk ribbons, beads, sinew, linen thread. Ribbon: Faded green and reddish. Beads (sz 13):clear charlotte cuts in purple, dusty rose, Opaque greasy green, greasy white.

Techniques or Format

Self welt in center back seam, sinew sewn (looks like a French seam).

Motifs and Patterns

Double curve motif with teardrops, oriented towards viewer.

Other Notes

Hard-soled miniature slipper moccasin with heel seam and V-shaped tongue. No laces or cuffs. Unsmoked hometanned white hide uppers, rawhide soles; cut from one piece. Opening bound with ribbon. Ribbon rosette and beadwork on toe. L 3.6" x W 1.5" H 1 " Cory Willmott.
