Possible Caribou hide, black and red ink, quills, worsted cotton tape. Ribbon in dark navy, Quills in lemon yellow, red and dark blue.

Twisted quillwork on sides, zigzag on toe. Ink used to draw pattern.

Motifs and Patterns

Elaborate symmetrical design of curvilinear floral quillwork on toe. Contains double curves, antler shapes, crescents, lobe-shaped leaves. Zigzag and triangles around sides, red ink in center back seam.

Other Notes

One unmatched hard sole Moccasin for a child or baby. Rawhide sole, upper of fine, unsmoked, hometanned white hide. Made of a single-piece upper with heel seam. Has u-shaped tongue. Opening and tongue bound with tape. No cuffs, laces or tail at heel. Quill work on toe and around sides. L 4.75" x H 1.6" at tongue, 1.25 H at center back. Cory Willmott
