Haudenosaunee hide moccasin with geometric quillwork motifs on front and cuffs and beadwork trim on edge of cuffs. Constructed from a single piece of hide, with center-seam on front and on heel. Seneca-style construction and motifs (W.C.). Acquired by Haffenreffer in 1928; original maker and date unknown.

Moccasin made from one piece of deer hide, with single central seam at the top and single seam at the heel, and fold-over cuffs. One band of plaited quillwork covers the seam on the moccasin top, and single line stitch quillwork surrounds the top in wavy lines and diamond shapes. Bottom and side edges of the cuffs are bound with silk ribbon and edged with beads - the front edges are bound with yellow silk ribbon, the bottom edge with red silk ribbon, and the back edge of one cuff is bound with green silk ribbon, while the is bound with blue silk ribbon. Cuff panels are decorated with band of plaited quillwork and quillwork applied in single line stitch in diamond motifs and curvilinear designs.
