Materials

Rawhide, tanned hide, silk ribbon, Porcupine quills. Thread of natural color, ribbon in Forest green, quills red, dark blue, light blue and natural.

Sinew sewn at heel seam with self welt.

Motifs and Patterns

Quillwork design is curvilinear 2 elongated leaves oriented vertically with half moon and antler shaped curves on either side.

Other Notes

One unmatched hard soled slipper moccasin for a long, narrow foot. Right foot. Sole of rawhide, upper of hometanned white hide, finely made, thin and smooth. Made from a single upper, seamed at heel. No tongue, cuff or laces. Opening bound with silk ribbon. Quill work on toes. Thing attached at heel to form 2 tails. Square toe, center back seam not aligned with center back. L 6.25" x W 2.25" x H 1.75" (at center back). Cory Willmott.
