Materials

Home tanned hide, unsmoked hide upper, cowhide rawhide soles, silk ribbon, linen thread, porcupine quills. Thread is brown, Ribbon is a rose color that is possible a faded red. Quills are red and blue.

Ne welt at heel seam; sinew sewn.

Motifs and Patterns

Curvilinear floral quillwork with double curve oriented towards viewer. There are three elongated leaves in center of double curve, each leaf has two colors.

Other Notes

One unmatched hard soled slipper moccasin for a left foot. Made from a single piece of home tanned, unsmoked hide for upper. Ahs a heel seam and V-shaped tongue, no cuffs or laces. Thing attached to heel to form two tails. Opening (but not tongue) bound with silk ribbon. Quillwork on Toe. Toe is slightly pointed. L 7" x W 2.25" x H 2" (1.75" at center back seam). Cory Willmott
