A sateen leggings with twisted red wool yarn drawstring, horizontal floral beadwork on black wool, vertical geometric loom seed beadwork on cotton backing
Records says "Cree?" and also notes Ojibwa style beadwork. (Maskekowiyiniwak (Swampy Cree ) or Omushkego (Winisk-Swampy Cree)

Hand sewn, tubular shape, Made of black sateen with cloth folded over and sewn at the top to form fold for drawstring tie, Top decorated with pink embroidery thread in variation of "cows-feet" stitch, (A) lined with pieces of red and white cotton, Black, red, white, purple, green print cloth and faded blue cloth, (B) lined with same black, red, white, purple, green print cloth and faded blue cloth, Bottoms of both have a strip of black wool edged with beige cloth (faded from blue) attached, Wool decorated with applied overlay floral stem and leaf design, (A,B) have strip of brown cloth sewn to the length of leggings, edged with beige cotton (faded from blue), bordered with row of white seed beads, Centre length of brown both strips have white and red print cotton sewn on top of each other, stiffened with paper and possibly once covered with pink silk along edges, Strip of loom woven geometric designs of beadwork on a white field, sewn to the cotton, Cotton edged with two rows of orange seed beads which also form geometric designs on the top and bottom, Some of this latter work is now broken, Loom woven strip suggest Plains influence.
