Crooked knife, consisting of a short blade made from a file, hafted with a tang to a wooden handle. The cylindrical, central part of the handle is wrapped in a sleeve of brown buckskin. The wood on this object may be maple.
Motifs and Patterns
The distal end from the blade is carved in the form of a human hand with fingers curled as if grasping, thumb pendant to the forefinger between the second and third joints. The fingers are thin, uniformly sized, with relief-carved finger nails.
