Photograph of the home of Chief John Mount Pleasant on the Tuscarora Reservation. Taken in 1888 by J. W. Sanborn, a pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church in Lockport, New York. Donated to the museum by the anthropologist Herman ten Kate who, according to the museum record, stayed at the home in December 1882. Albumen print.

This heritage item currently resides at the Museum Volkenkunde, Leiden, Netherlands.
