Headdress and drop are made of red stroud; white selvedge at bottom of drop. Rim of headdress trimmed with possibly ermine(?) fur. Feathers are secured to inner layers of stround with thread. Some feathers have been inserted into dyed feather shafts. Drop is trimmed with possibly white(?) silk ribbon. Patterned silk ribbon is laced under the headdress feathers, is secured to stroud with thread, and falls to the sides of the headdress
White selvedge on bottom of headdress drop. American flag design on silk ribbon that falls to the sides of the headdress.
