Smoke tanned moose hide gauntlet gloves, beaded decoration, Machine stitched, two stitched parallel tucks down back of hand, decorative bands of lighter coloured hide with saw-toothed edges covering wrist seam and binding edge of cuff, Hide fringe (approx. 8 cm L) sewn into outer side seams of cuff, gauntlet cuff (approx. 20 cm L) backed with stiffened cotton and lined with red, white, and blue striped flannelette.

Motifs and Patterns

Decorative bands of lighter coloured hide with saw-toothed edges covering wrist seam and binding edge of cuff, light red, medium red faceted and white opaque beads (approx. 8 beads/cm) and dark green, light green, dark pink, light pink, yellow, orange and red white heart beads (approx. 5 beads/cm) used to create floral pattern between tuck lines on back of hand and covering most of the surface of the outer side of gauntlet.
