The fan is made of feathers and birch bark, decorated with moose hair embroidery on both sides and with a stuffed bird with inserted glass eyes in the center of the fan section. Probably made by Huron-Wendat for sale in the souvenir trade. Donated by V. J. Hortz.

The handle is made of two pieces of birch bark, floral embroidered with moose hair on both sides; the fan is made of stiff cotton cloth, covered with feathers. Sewing done with cotton yarn.
