Elaborately carved drumstick made of a single piece of wood with geometric designs, the use of raised and resced design is evident on the geometric starts as recessed triangles then a band of enlarged raised diamond pattern. This is followed by recessed triangles. Flattened designs are also used concave and convex designs a well. The remaining designs are bands of inverted raised triangles followed by incised diamond patterns. The final band shows five concave designs followed by fluted geometric bands. The handle is smooth and is delineated by two rounded knobs at 3" intervals, wooden keg-shape container to retain water, may have been pitched at one time. Plug at side to remove water when no in use. Skin stiff now. As fastener a metal ring covered by cotton print tape. Designs on exterior of drum are red and yellow. Yellow ground with red base. Underneath are cross and 4 circles design.;;
