A late 20th century Hodenosaunee cornhusk doll of a mother and child. The mother figure wears a dress of cornhusk and shawl of floral fabric, and in her arms she holds a baby tightly wrapped with different patterned fabrics. Oneida from Wisconsin, this doll was collected by Pieter Hovens during a field trip in 1996.

These dolls are made from cornhusk and are wrapped in different patterned fabrics. The cornhusk leaves form the dress of the mother figure and over her shoulders she wears a shawl made of floral patterned fabric. Her hair is made of black yarn and is secured with clear glue. She wears a bracelet and necklace of strands of multicoloured beads, a tied headband made of a hide thong that is secured with clear glue, and two beads with two feathers that are secured to her hair with clear glue. Her hands are held together with commercial thread and in her arms, likely secured with glue, she holds a baby made of cornhusk wrapped with two pieces of different patterned fabrics and black felt.
