Techniques or Format

The doll is dressed in a long sleeved leather shirt, slit down the front for neck opening, bottom edged in pink. The shirt has set-in sleeves and fringes at armhole and shoulder seam. The breechcloth is of black wool cloth with bright pink ribbons and turquoise beads on the back. The trousers or leggings are fringed along sides of legs. The moccasins are fringed with remnants of bead decoration The doll's facial features are undefined, save for a slightly shaped nose, faint scratch marks in the eye area and a red splotch on the forehead. The sash is of simple knotted strands of red, green and light gray yarn.

Condition: Doll is contained in a plastic bag with some sawdust stuffing which has come out. Most of the doll's long black hair is lost.
