Description of Land Surrendered:

The Chiefs and leading men of the Deleware Nation of Indians residing on the Moravian Reserve, do surrender unto Her Majesty the Queen the tract adjoining the River Thames, in the Townships of Zone and Orford known as the Moravian Reserve, on the following conditions:

1. A sufficient quantity of land shall be reserved for the purpose of being divided among the Indians.

2. Each family to whom a farm shall be allotted shall receive a written document giving them and their children exclusive occupation of the lot

3. A house shall be built for each family removed from their present farms

4. Any Indian removed shall receive the value of their improvements

5. Proceeds of the sale of the surrendered tract shall be held in trust for the benefit of the Indians

6. The interest arising shall be payable half yearly to the Indians
