Softwood, relatively light; enameled? Paint; black serge (which by definition is twill); beads size 11; blue silk ribbon, hide thong, twine, not so much sinew as twine.

Motifs and Patterns

Heart motif carved; bead motifs: two parallel design fields each with meadering line of floral beadwork, two different patterns, note that this design arrangement and pattern are characteristic of Cree hoods, and Cree cradleboards. Ask Cath O.
