Description of Surrendered Land:
The Chiefs and Principal Men of the Beausoleil Band of Ojibway Indians resident on Christian Island, in Georgian Bay have surrendered unto Her Majesty Queen Victoria a parcel of land situated on Christian Island being composed of part of the south-easterly point of the island called the Christian Island, containing 25 and 3/4 acres. The money received from the sale of the land be placed at interest, and that the interest money accruing from such an investment shall be paid to the Indians annually or semi-annually.
