Child's leggings. Cayuga, from the Six Nations of the Grand River. Collected by Joseph Keppler and loaned to the National Museum of the American Indian in 1926.

navy woolen cloth; blue silken ribbon; blue thread; black thread.
Techniques or Format
Each legging is made from a single piece of cloth. They are hand sewn. The leggings are sewn up the front seam, with a space of about 3cm left at the bottom. The space extends up to where the ribbon ends.
