Base is dark brown velvet material-- red cotton or linen edging around body-- red silk ribbon edging around top opening-- translucsent white, white, dusty rose, sky blue and dark blue, mustard yellow, translucent gold, yellow, 2 shades of green, transluscent red size 12 and 13 seed beeds-- used to be gold sequins-- strap coarsley woven cotton brown
Strap is sewn on the outside of box in between the red edging-- beading is on a paper pattern-- cream coloured cotton or linen fabric on the underside of flap and striped lining the bag-- beading is couched at 4 o5 beads-- line of looped fringe along bottom-- line of beading along edge of flaps-- base material is 2 separate pieces sewn together (hard to say because the inside is lined and edging is covering seams)
Floral motif-- each flower is done with 2 shades of the same colour (monochromatic shading)-- ribbon decorating the bag opening is slightly gathered (maybe in part due to the current condition of the bag)-- sequins attached to the bag with a single bead in the centre are interspersed filling the negative space of the floral elemants-- 2 parallel lines border on both sides of the flap and body of bag
