1915/07/ - 1915/09/, Six Nations Reserve, Ontario, Canada, (from catalogue card) (Notes of Waugh) "cane with carved, obtained from David Jack. Belonged to D. Jack's grandfather (a chief) and is said to have passed through the hands of four generations. May be 100 years old or older. Called a "chief's cane".
