Round 9" quill box made by Jane Pangowish of Wikwemikong Unceded Territory. Fully-quilled lid featuring an eagle in profile in a mountain scene, fancy geometric edges and sweetgrass trim stitched with quills. A sweetgrass braid is nested against the trim.

Lid: Fully-quilled with fine quills, featuring an eagle in profile against a mountain stream scene, with fancy geometric edges (woven diamond pattern) done with chunkier quills. Sweetgrass trim is stitched with white quills, and a sweetgrass braid is nested just inside the trim. Body: fancy geometric edges (woven diamond pattern), and sweetgrass trim stitched with white quills.
