An 8" round quill box made by Jean Mishibinijima of Wikwemikong Unceded Territory. Fully-quilled and multi-coloured, featuring an eight-pointed geometric star, and diverse fancy geometric designs.

Birch bark, sweetgrass, quills (undyed (white), orange, burgundy, yellow, red, pink, purple, blue, pale green, dark green, yellow-green), cotton thread
Lid: 8-pointed geometric star in yellow circle, inside ring of fancy geometric (diamond pattern), with solid-quilled edges in stripe pattern. Body: Fancy geometric edges (diamonds) mixed with linear chevron pattern (Miqmaq style?). All sweetgrass trim stitched with thread. On bottom of body is scratched: "Jean Mish, Wiky, Ont, 1987," and just opposite it is written in pen (in different handwriting): "Jean Mishibinijima, Wikwemikong, Ont, 1987."
